In this class, actors will select 2 excerpts from a book(s), 2 minutes max. Everyone will have the opportunity to read 1. Time permitted, you will read both.

Participants will learn...

• The lingo, like what’s the difference between duet and dual narration? What’s PFH?

• The start to finish audiobook timeline. From audition to negotiating a rate to recording to getting paid.

• How to take your experience and skills in interactive and animation and apply them to audiobook narration.

• To celebrate your you-ness.

• Also, participate in a Q&A with VA Deva Marie Gregory!

Please select 2 excerpts from a book or books to be read for class. This is a virtual adult class for students 18 years and older. You must use the camera on feature in Zoom during class. This class is for actors of all levels. Purchases are non refundable and class credit is not offered if you do not attend. Class will be Saturday May 31st from 11am-2pm Pacific Time. Only 12 seats available. Class will be taught over Zoom. You do not need a professional microphone to take this class.
